In 2008 lebron scored 2250 pts, while kobe had 2323. Who deserved the scoring title that season?
Btw lebron scored 366 pts in those playoffs while kobe scored 633

Comparing one season to one season makes sense to use per-game.
But comparing across an entire career? Totals 100%

Nah. A season is long so you need to use totals. Thats how awards like MVP are handed out - cant win them with 50 gms
