Kawhi Leonard is expected to miss Game 5 against the Jazz tonight with a knee injury suffered in game 4, sources tell
@ramonashelburne & me. His status for the rest of the series is in doubt as well.

Leonard told teammates last night to prepare for him to be out. He landed awkwardly on a drive in the fourth quarter and grimaced in pain Monday night. He briefly stayed in the game but didn’t finish as the Clippers secured the win to even the series 2-2.

HBK now must be on Suicide watch as this season is a golden chance for the Clippers to come out of the West and win the title.

Yet Kawhi's knee injury might ruin all of that.

The Clippers season all rides on PG stepping up in the next two games may God have mercy on their poor souls

Damn Suns might really win due to injuries (Clippers, Nets).

Well, the Suns might have CP out for two weeks due to Covid so the Jazz might end up winning the title or the 76ers.

Brooklyn's injuries are not as major as others. They're also 3-2 up, so they've got time to get healthy. One game, but it's more than others, given the severity of Kyrie and Harden.

Plus, Chris Paul just tested positive for COVID-19 -- he's out for potentially multiple games of the WCF. We'll see though, he might not miss any games.

It seems like Utah and Brooklyn are in the driver's seats right now, in my opinion. Phoenix too, if Chris isn't out for 10+ days.

Kawhi was playing so well. Now we know why he had to take so much time off. His legs are a ticking time bomb.

He went out balling.

He is not confirmed out. I wouldn't be shocked if he played if it's just a sore knee.

If he's out the series is obviously over.

I find it weird how ESPN had Stan Van Gundys firing as the frontline news and not the Kawhi and CP3 stories.

Especially among top tier talent

LBJ

Harden
Kyrie
Murray
Embiid
Kawhi

That's basically half of the top 15 list right there

Shortened off season.

7 weeks is not enough for the body to heal and get back into game shape + wear and tear of another season.

Lakers will be less banged up for next season given that they were out by June 1st.

Was such a freak injury. Didn't look too bad at first but those are the ones that get you. This was the year for the clippers to win it. Damn
