Might be the only basic thread premise that I actually agree with OP on. The fact is, KD is underrated and overhated because of two things: Huge Lebron fanbase and his move to go to the Warriors.

For me, Durant before the year started was already in the top 12...and you could argue that he is already on Larry Bird's level (wherever your rank Bird).

Bird playoff prime - 150 games - 21.8 PER, 55.5 TS%, 7.3 BPM, 24.5/10.6/6.5
KD playoff prime - 143 games - 25 PER, 60.5 TS%, 7.4 BPM, 29.5/ 7.8/3.1

Again, you can criticize KD's leadership abilities and competitiveness on some levels...but the people who criticize his game and talents are simply insecure haters and usually stans of other players.
