One of my favorite role players in the NBA. He is like Poor Man's Horace Grant.

loved him his first year with the Jazz. But like has been too often the case they hung on to him way too long. Should have been gone by his 3rd year with them

Your typical hard nosed, fundamentally sound enforcer whose impact goes beyond their stats. Supported the Jazz in their Finals runs and always felt those Jazz bigs coming off the bench always got the job done when called upon. Him together with Greg Foster and Adam Keefe brought the intensity even in limited minutes.

yeah I understand how you would hate a guy like that especially if they play too many minutes beyond their ability.

He gave the Jazz a good scoring punch off the bench. He had almost zero similarity with Horace Grant though apart from wearing goggles.

Good 1-on-1 defender - there were far more rugged athletes like him in the 80's and 90's that would lock up Lebron and wear him down more than today's cream puffs
