As a Rudy stan but a honest person I can admit Rudy just didnt come thru. No offense besides some blah screens and some missed lobs he was nowhere to be found. On defense he looked like any other drop big who loses tons of value come playoff time. I hate to admit it but mitchell did his part. When you're supposed to be a top 10 player like gobert you have to step up and mr baguette didn't get it done . Lets bring on 2021-22 for my kings!

Been watching a lot of Jazz games for the last few years, and Xiao's attention and fawning over Gobert made me take a closer look. Was he really that good? The answer is no. I like what I see in the regular season. Hate what I see in the playoffs. He goes limp every year. Hard to justify 200mil for that. Looked like a bitch against Capela. Got the business from Batum. Shitty D. Late closeouts. Low energy. Fake hobbling. No offensive ability.

He's a very good defensive player but absolutely not some Ben Wallace or Mutombo. With that said, he's no slouch...but the Jazz have to improve, and one of the ways they can do that is to send him on his way and try to get Mitchell some help. O'Neale can go. Conley's great but aging and of questionable health. They direly need to surround Mitchell with capable players. He showed up in a big way. Rudy did not....again.

Absolutely, but that does not address Rudy's offensive ineptitude and getting beat to death on the glass by smaller guys. It wasn't just leaving Mann open from 3, guys like he and Reggie were going directly at Gobert in the paint with no recourse and loving every second of it.
