It's playoffs everyone is hurt. If your on the floor there's no excuses. Plus Isaiah thomas was playing on one leg and that didn't stop him. But that's why harden is overrated and dosn't belong in the same sentence as Isaiah Thomas. He's good He's not great.

Let us celebrate Protcor you were right all along about this choke artist who disappears when it matters the most but has no problem dropping a 60 point triple-double in a meaningless regular-season game.

Yes he is. This wasn't his 1st or 2nd game back. Him and Joe Harris are the two reasons why they lost the game.

Glad paul george picked kawhi instead of harden picking kawhi. I would be at home crying like Roy and manny.

Harden's a horrendous Playoff performer. Plain and simple. Anyone still denying this is kidding themselves

And it's not about just not winning. It's that he plays like absolute trash every time a series is close and critical. I don't think there's another star in NBA history that has been so bad so consistently in critical games. He's a fraud of a star, a scammer who can't do it when it matters most.

Harden doing Harden things. He just needed to be 75% of his normal self and KD has enough help. But damn, you choking SOB.

Harden clearly was playing through a major injury. The fact he was able to play so many minutes is remarkable in and of itself. People saying he played poorly, he couldn't drive at all obviously he's not going to play well.

Kyrie couldn't even make it onto the floor. 0/0. That's a bigger choke.

He shouldn't have played then. Better to put in a live body out there instead of someone who can barely move. I don't care about his presence helps notion. Bucks knew he was limited. Maybe should've played Shamet more. Bad move IMO by Nash.

As bad as they shot they needed hardens ball handling. He still sucked but without his dribbling Nets would have lost by double digits. I couldn't count on two hands the amount of times there was a turnover or rebound where the guy who got the ball had no idea where to outlet it. Durant is an extremely shaky dribbler. Tbh he relies on extreme palming to get by.

I get the point but Harden wasn't getting by anyone, maybe a few times. And I think the dribbling aspect is a little overrated. You could get Brown or Shamet to bring the ball up court and KD at times and run their O. I just think having a body that isn't really active out there really hurts. I though Shamet should've played more.

Brown and Shamet definitely couldn't bring the ball up like Harden. They're both actually horrible ball handlers... Bucks sagged 25 feet off Brown at all times.

The bucks have tremendous defensive pressure. Jrue holiday is an amazing ball handler pressure defender. Shamet and Brown could never provide that type of ball handling up the court consistently.

his game is hideous - outright offensive - and his stans are annoying. plus he looked healthier than he did the first game back, missing wide open shot after wide open shot.

no mercy. harden is a choking bitch.

Yup, valid point but would it have been worth it for Jrue to sacrifice that much energy just to try to generate a steal? Most pros don't press like that when a player is bringing the ball up court. And once in the half court, the O could've ran though KD.

Also, Harden was worthless from 3 in this series (5/26 - .192%) and we all know WHY. He didn't have his legs and almost all of them were short. He was a liability. Yes, he can dribble BUT he wasn't getting by anyone because he had no explosion. So he was seldom getting in the paint, drawing the D and setting guys up. He was dead weight out there for the most part. If you can't explode off your legs, you shouldn't be out there, especially for perimeter players. Yeah, if you're a big, perhaps not as important.

The Nets were dead without his slow down dribbling though. They only put Harden in to deliberately slow down the pace and pull things to a draw. Once Kyrie went down they had no choice. They wouldn't have brought Harden back if Kyrie didn't go down. Nets needed somebody to dribble in traffic up the court.

Again, i would agree with your argument more if Harden could somewhat explode and get by people but that wasn't the case. And his 3 pt shooting was terrible. Not to mention his inability to move which meant bad D and inability to change ends and provide athleticism in the open court. Also, in today's NBA, a traditional PG isn't as important as in the past due to the heavy reliance on the P&R, which frees guys up. Plus, they had KD in the half court.

Agree to disagree.
