With a chance to put the series away, and with Durant & Kyrie on the floor, Brown proceeds to do this

The Nets would've wrapped the series up in 4-5 games and had plenty of time for Harden & Kyrie to rest, especially with the other series going 7. That possession could've changed the entire trajectory of the playoffs, and could've ended up resulting in a Nets title if Durant or Kyrie take that shot instead

The teammates really failed Durant with the exception of Blake and Green for 1 game.

Honestly that shot was better than if he'd tried to pass the ball with all those defenders around. Brown's a pretty good finisher at the rim.

I don't know what Nashs fixation was with him over Jeff green or even shamet... The bucks were leaving brown wide open on every play and it made finishing in the paint super difficult with brook Lopez and giannis parked at the rim. Green or shamet wouldve forced them out.

This is the importance of role players... Durant did everything he could but brown and especially Harris choked their asses off missing wide open jumpers in the clutch, clearly scared.

durant was guarded by someone 5 inches shorter and refs was giving him phantom fouls. not as impressive as it seems

Who's winning the chip this year T?

Bucks.

I made a thread a while ago saying they were the best value pick at +900. But couldn't have predicted both harden and Kyrie would get hurt. Bad luck tbh. If Middleton got hurt this series wouldn't have gone past 5 games.

The lekingjames era. Dont need a jumper or post game or handles or free throws to be a jordanlike scorer nowadays.

What OP? Don't blame Brown, blame the horrible in bound pass the ruined the play. Brown was then passed the ball and he had a decent open lane.

Yeah he missed the layup but he didn't cause that play to blow up.

Let's be real, the Nets lost because Kyrie and Harden were injured. If they were healthy, it wouldn't matter how bad the roles players played.
