MJ losing to the 86 Celtics = winning.

Durant losing to Bucks = winning.

Barkley losing to Hakeen and MJ = winning.

Many of the greatest defeats are remembered more than the greatest wins. Consider Achilleus being killed by Paris in the Trojan war. Who even stans Paris? No one, but everyone stans Achilleus.

It's like this with basketball too.

Glory can be found in defeat. It's all about how you go down.

Do you go swinging, like Durant and Achilleus, or do you sneak out like Paris and Lebron.

No you can't. This is some fakkit ass shit tbh. As far as a personal achievement or just winning relative to others in society of course just making it to nba is a win. Relative to the greatest in the game just making it to the playoffs or even finals is not a win. At that level a win ring. Participation dont mean shit
