I know it sounds really cheesy and simplistic but durants been better than lebron since 2014. he's just been on the wrong teams and not been quite as lucky as lebron

both guys have had injuries but durants was way worse. and both guys were gifted titles through collusion but lebrons had double the success in that department. and when Durant chokes he doesnt have miraculous bail outs by teammates to make up for them.

all that being said its more than obvious that if lebron and his teams are healthy he's probably going on 5 straight titles right now

lebrons a better play maker and durants a better defender. but what separates them right now is durants endurance. lebron gasses all the time now and can't carry a team offensively like he used to. Durant can play every minute and still get 35 to 40 whenever he wants. those days are over for lebron.

it was a good argument maybe back in 2018 but now it's gotta be Durant
