For those of you who were already writing off the Clippers after game 2, don't be too hasty. Were it not for a freak ending in the second game, the Clips would be up 2-1 in the series. They've shown that they're the deepest team in the league. No other team would be doing this well with their star player out. And think about it, they played a good part of the season with either Kawhi or PG out injured or doing load management, and they still ended up third seed. I'm telling you, don't be surprised if the Clippers pull this one out against the Suns and then go on to beat the Bucks.

They really aren't that good.

Suns shot themselves out of this game and were out of sync to their usual game.

Clippers don't have the chemistry and overall skill...Kawhi or not.
I mean...Luka and scrubs took them to 7 games lmao

They're just not a great team...at all

Of the teams remaining we could.

This series is pretty much for the chip IMO. Dont see either of these teams losing to the Hawks or Bucks.

They are learning and adapting. They beat the Mavs in 7. They beat the Jazz in 6. They would have probably dominated the Suns if Kawhi was in there. Defense and focus improved tremendously from last year, from the regular season, and even as the playoffs goes on. They were bound to lose game 1, they just finished a tough series 2 days prior. It was an early game too. They had less than 48 hours to recover and regroup. Game 2 could have gone either way. Jazz had the best chance of toppling the Clippers in the West because of their shooting. Suns are relying on Ayton to get them over the Clippers. Prospect not great. Clippers survived the Mavs with their giant lineup. They did the same with the Jazz who had Gobert. Ayton had two good games, but his impact is waning as this series goes on. He's no Hakeem. Suns still have the edge overall, but it's not going to be an easy series. This isn't just a "bad game" from the Suns. This is adaptation my the Clippers.

Lebron took these Suns to six in his 18th szn on a busted ankle without AD. It’s unimaginable.

Lakers won when AD was the leading scorer.

Lebron was fully healthy and just got outplayed by Booker.

Clippers are a gritty team, peaking at the right time.

They have a shot.

Can't say that for sure. The Suns mindset would have been different if they were coming off a loss instead of up 2-0. They may have played a different game.

Same for the Clips. If they hadn't been down 0-2, they may not have been as intense defensively.
