What if Pippen and Kd swapped places in their careers

Rookie kd gets drafted by the bulls in 87, goes to the rockets in 99, and the blazers after.

Pippen is drafted by Seattle in 2007, leaves for the warriors and finally to the nets.

The teams are the exact same otherwise. How is the fit, how many championships do both Pippen and KD win?



I'd say Pippen would either have the same amount of rings as Durant does now(2) or maybe he doesn't have the scoring necessary to beat the Rockets in 2018 and they lose there

For Durant, it's a similar story, either he wins the exact same amount as Pippen did or maybe he wins 2 extra titles with MJ in 90 '95

Though I will say that the late 80s Pistons would literally beat up skinny ass 20-year-old KD as they did with Pippen in an attempt to rattle him.



So maybe he and MJ don't get over the hump until 1991 as they did in real life with Pippen.

KD is in the top 5 of most talented players of all time so it is shame that he will be ranked as a top 20 to 15 player all-time when his career is over as his skill set and talent should have ensured that he went down as a top 12 to 10 player of all time instead.

this is the toughest era and the fact he had to face bran and that was the bar hurt his rankings

he would have all the mvps if not for bran and probably all the fmvp but instead of 4 or 5 he has 2 and probably will not get another

Pip can't play off ball well. It would make Iggy and Dray worse on O. Their defense would be strong but their offense would get exposed in the playoffs again unless every team was injured in the yoffs again like 2015 and no KD in the yoffs.

KD is one of the best off ball players ever. He's made it work with Westbrick who dominates the ball as much as anyone and is inefficient and can't play off ball or defense.

KD is as portable as any player ever. Even players like Kyrie and Harden play their best ball with him. Jordan could play off ball a lot too.

No one is guarding an MJ/KD offense. Wings were the weakest position of the 90s they'd absolutely bitcher everyone and hand checking would help KDs defense even more.
