It's interesting becuase I thought the word "major" is pretty much synonymous with "pre-eminent", and there's nothing pre-eminent about the Negro Leagues. I'd bet the average Negro League player (in other words, the league as a whole) had 80% less, or barely more than half as much, skill than the average MLB player. In other words, there was barely more average skill than the current Minor League Baseball system.

No, their records and stats should not be intermingling with the Whit...I mean Major Leagues. Separate leagues and recognition for each.

That's not true; black people are offended by the term "negro" being used by anyone, including fellow blacks, at a certain, rather low limit. Even its connotation in Negro Leagues has its limits.
