James has 68 games and three Olympics of international experience with Team USA. He joined USA Basketball for the 2004 Games in Athens, where the Americans lost their opener to Puerto Rico, dropped two more games and settled for bronze.

didn't 2006 lebron also claim a bronze medal ( wasn't that the year nick wright and other leroid fans called him the real mvp )
Being chosen to play >>> not even being asked twice in 2yrs due to it would give the U.S a bad look and reputation.

MJ won gold at 21 and was the leading scorer by over 5 ppg on the team with Chris Mullin & Pat Ewing as his 2 best teammates, took Lebron until age 23 to be carried to a gold medal by Kobe & Wade.. Jordan never went LeBronze with a player of peak Duncan's caliber..
