Anyone have some good links to data by year per country?

I assume a bad flu season would have more deaths and hospitalisations.

This post is not intended to politicise covid. Jusr after the data from others

Cumulative deaths with Covid-19 in the US are currently at 605,000.

Cumulative deaths attributed to flu in the US for 2020-2021 season was 646.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-8821113/amp/The-average-age-death-coronavirus-82-4-years-writes-DAVID-ROSE.html?

The average age of people who died from Covid-19 in England and Wales since the pandemic began is 82.4 years.

That figure – computed from Office of National Statistics data by experts at Oxford University – is significantly higher than the average age reached by people recorded as dying from all other causes, which is 81.5.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/12886370/average-age-covid-death-82-4-years-shield-vulnerable/

Data analysed by experts at the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine (CEBM) has revealed that the average age of deaths from the coronavirus is 82.4 years.

This is slightly higher than deaths caused by other illnesses, which has a median age of 81.5.

This seems nonsense and does not have a reputable source.

EG for what I mean,

It's complex, but statements like covid kills more than the flu are obviously false in Australia.

There was concern initially but let's simply review data.

In 2019 in Australia, 4,124 deaths by flu and pneumonia.

In 2020 and half of 2021, only 910 deaths from covid.

It isn't nonsense and and several reputable sources of the data confirm. Here are a few:

Did you even look at the site i provided? It is the official government data. That is why it is from 2019 as the latest official causes of death by cause for Australia.

Please only provide the government approved causes of death for your or other countries.

Preferably your own as you would more likely know that.

Ps. I have appreciated many of your other posts at face value but your posts in this thread make me question your research methods and conclusions.

You are answering a different question to the one I asked. To spell it out now 2019 causes of death versus covid deaths in a year.

When you’re finished melting down remember that only 6% of the US deaths were from actual Covid...

I believe the stat was 6% weren't also dying from other illnesses per death certificate... could be due to lazy clinicians not writing other causes on the death cert.

The most important death stat is the median age of death (~80 years old); above average life expectancy.

On average, people who died with Covid lived longer than people who died without it.

Or it was to blatantly inflate the numbers.

No shit. This whole thing shouldn’t even matter to anyone under 70. Vaccinate the old farts and move on already

You must be joking or not well educated. Look at the site I provided. The data provided and its presentation.

CDC and WHO are compromised and even if they weren't. They cherrypicked/slanted the data and are obviously left biased like you. Nonetheless, I still tried to get data from 2019 flu deaths and could not find them. No, comparing since Covid is tainted. Ideally I would have 2009-2019 flu deaths per country per year.

I clearly posted this originally or tried to, just for the data in the same format. Even if I am wrong about the above, no one actually posted the data or reputable links to what I requested.

vs an estimated 216 pediatric deaths with Covid from 2019 through 2021.
