Marv Albert's contract with TNT is officially done, and he had announced that he was retiring after the season. That means that he has, officially, called the final game of his broadcasting career.

The end of an era. He was one of the best announcers in sports.. Hasn't been very good last couple years but you can't judge his entire career off last 2 years with Father Time caught up with him.

To this day his voice still reminds me of the 90s Bulls vs Knicks playoffs and that MJ layup vs Lakers. He was part of it all. I see younger fans talking a lot of shit about him these days, which is a shame. He was great for the game. Apart from the "incident" obviously.
