Difference is theyd have been empty stats and the Heat wouldnt have made the finals with Bron missing any meaningful games.

Wade missed 58gms 2012-14', which includes the 66gm schedule in 12'.
Miami doesnt get the high seeding and less harder road if it's James missing those games.

One series doesn't cancel out an entire playoff run. Besides, Wade's gamescore that finals trumps every single one of Middleton's. LeBron lost as a #2 lol.

People need to respect Giannis, after this year he should be a 3 time finals MVP and 2 time reg season MVP if it wasn't for the bubble and GOAT Kawhi. This year he should of probably won reg season MVP as well over Jokic.
Giannis is doing all this while having a supporting cast that is similar to Lebron Cavs in the 2000s
Middelton isn't a superstar like Wade or a #1 pick like Irving\Davis, he's a geek who was a Round 2 and 39th draft pick and couldn't evne make a 3rd all nba team this season hahahahah

Middleton is better used as a 2nd option than Wade was, because Wade's strength was attacking with the ball in his hands and Middleton's strength is shooting.

Regardless of whether Middleton is better or not than Wade/Kyrie (I'd say no), Lebron was just a much superior player compared to current Giannis. I'd even say current CP3 is better than Giannis in the playoff.

Then you're simply just being an idiot, before he went down with an injury giannis was averaging 29/13/5 on damn near 60% ts, while also leading the playoffs in defensive win shares and rating. Cp3 for almost the entire clipper series, apart from game 6, played like shit, played like shit against the lakers also. You're retarded

28/8/8/2 to 2-0 Atlanta and send his team to the finals
Why couldnt Bran do ANYTHING in the 1st round without AD?

dumb thread but middleton/holiday last few games does show the issue with defining a roster by how many all stars a team has. Mil is one of the more talented teams in the league outside healthy bkn yet by calling them a team with only one all star, you're making it seem like the team is giannis+friends and it obviously isnt. Add on some seaon will be top heavy player wise so good players will miss the all star game(trae didnt even make it this year) and other years the all star teams are kind of crap.

Not really. He's averaging 23/8/5 on 55%TS. Not really that great (for this era), considering the defenses he's played in this run so far. Of course his ppg average would go up as he's asked to score more with the Giannis injury, but that's against a hobbled Hawks squad, who were ranked 21st on defense this season. He sucked ass for most of the Nets series, and the Nets had a mediocre defense too (23rd) and had injuries to 3 of their key guys.
2012 Wade and 2016/17 Irving were better than current Middleton.

Nah... 23/8/6 isn't better than prime Wade or Kyrie. He's definitely a very nice player all star talent but Jrue and Lopez were playing just as well when Gianni left.

You say it's obvious that Middleton's ppg would increase, so why wasn't it obvious to you that Bosh and Love's ppg would decrease after going from 1st to 3rd options?

That's not the same. Bosh & Love were big men and their strength was scoring in the post and in the paint, Lebron Ball took them out of the paint. With Middleton, he's basically a poor man's Kobe to Giannis' Shaq. Giannis dominates the first 3 1/2 quarters of the game and Middleton's their #1 option in crunch time. With Giannis out, Middleton has to play that role for the majority of the game, thus his usage and his numbers increase as a result.

17 PER, and .550 TS%.
That's like Pippen numbers, and way behind what Kyrie, Wade, and even Bosh did.

Wade was better in 2011 when he led the Heat in scoring and averaged 27 in the Finals.. People forget that Wade was 1st option in those playoffs.
Furthermore, Middleton has the skill (elite shooting) to fit with Giannis and therefore puts up better numbers, while neither Wade or Lebron are elite shooters, so they lack the skill to fit with each other.
So it's a skill thing - Middleton has it, while Giannis/Lebron/Wade are ball-dominant, non-shooters (playground skillset)..
If Middleton had elite athleticism, he would destroy all three and be far superior - but there's only 1 player in history that was an all-time athlete and an all-time shooter (on either 2-pointers or 3-pointers).. it's the goat obviously.

Jimmy Butler won the East last year with an injury-riddled team, while Kawhi won it on his vacation and Brook Lopez is leading these Bucks past Atlanta.
And before Lebron's super-teams, 1-star teams led by Iverson, Dwight and Kidd made numerous Finals - only Lebron's super-teams interrupted a trend of 1-star teams winning the weakest conference in history - it's the only conference where a bunch of 1-star teams routinely won the conference.

Except Wade outplayed Lebron when Lebron joined and outplayed Lebron in the finals as well and already had a finals mvp. Kyrie outplayed the unanimous league mvp at his position. When did Lebron do that?
If middleton wins a ring this year, would he be almost on-par with kobe or better?

Kyrie's 2016 playoffs was remarkable, so was his performance in 2017. Wade in 2011? Wade in 2010? Wade in 2006? But what else do we expect from idiot Bran stans who seek to diminish from every single co-star that Bran ever played with.

I wouldn't say it's the easiest. It may appear so at times but when you take into account previous eras had uncoordinated drug addicts, mechanics and grocery baggers hobbling up and down the court it kinda puts things into perspective.
