View Full Version : ● Why does LeBron turn the ball over so much? ●

Most turnovers in history AND playoff history?
How can a so-called GOAT be so wreckless with the ball?
The playoff one is extra interesting....
LeBron 975
the next worst is Magic with only 696...thats a BIG gap.
And let's not even get started on most missed shots in playoff history...LeBuckle buckles under playoff pressure.

lol ok point but his ast/to or to% are fine for a lead guy. warriorfan should really look know the weaknesses of his own favorite player a little more. Curry gets praised all the time for his offball play as he should but what's less impressive is his to% is higher than bron's even while bron is way more ball dominant. ast/to ratio in playoffs 7.2/3.7 for bron to 6.3/3.5 for curry.

Mate, we are taking the bron stan approach to this thread...
We don't use context and longevity paints the whole picture.

It's more I come here...see dumb threads...so balance it out
Same reason he has the most missed shots in playoff history
ImKobe

Because of his ball-dominant style of play. Same reason why Luka, Westbrook & Harden average 4-5 TOs a game.

It’s either LeBron or Harden. Dude can’t put a coherent thought together.

Elite juimpshooting and ball-movement (off-ball) are primary tenets of the game - a player is disqualified from goat without them
So even without considering Lebron's team-hopping (never learned to win, aka organic), and even without him mostly losing with super-tams or his turnover records, he was already disqualified for goat based for skill reasons.

Give him a break. The guy's just selfless and generous. He shares the ball with the other team. How can you criticize him for that?

Well he kind of needs to.
Without stiff arming and fast breaks, the dude can't really get his own shot off too well
At least he ain't a ball hog. :confusedshrug:

Wow, the margin against the second one is huge. 1.5fold higher than magic’s. Turnover per game is quite high too at 3.7. This is a record that will be very hard to break.
Per game averages suck. Totals are the only thing that matter. Lol

So you’re telling me for every 2 good passes, LeBron has one bad pass? That’s an awful ratio. The top point guards in the league can get 10 assists with 2 turnovers. LeBron is such an overrated playmaker.

MJ did even less.
Kobe did even less.
Plus LeBron is a #1 option, not a passer like Nash or CP3. Those guys couldn't sniff 30 ppg playoffs like LBJ, MJ, and Kobe. Don't make this ether any easier than it needs to be, but I will say I'm glad you're learning the difference between a 18 ppg PG and a 30 PPG SG/SF.

The latter aren’t overrated playmakers. Thanks for exposing this truth to the general public. LeBron is a less than steller playmaker that gets more credit than he deserves in that department.

MJ and Kobe maxed out at 1k playoff assists. LeBron's approach 2k. Double what they produced. They couldn't hang in this field as a #1 option because their passing was elementary at best. They hit their limit.

Yeah im still baffled by 2011. You give a guy all the advantages in the world and still gets himself outscored by a bench player and loses in the finals?

Jordan, who's primary trait is scoring, has an assist/turnover ratio that's only 0.1 behind Lebron, who's primary trait is assisting? LOL this actually makes MJ look better.
