It would be the least likely olympic gold in basketball since Argentina in 04. He would be a guaranteed hall of famer if he never stepped foot on a court again after that. Still not the GOAT.

I would love to see MJ guard Luka. That would be very entertaining.

Winning the euro basket with Slovenia at 19 as the clear best player in spite of playing next to an nba all star is already a Hall of Famer guarantee imo.
Winning the Olympics with Slovenia(which won't happen) would be a carry job like we haven't seen since the 50s, it would redefine the amount of impact one player can have on a team and it would elevate lebron ball into being the default for how the game is played from now on.

I just hope the bookies thinks the same as I want to put some bets on Slovenia winning the gold. And why you think they have no chance. Luka excels at Euro games, they beat Lithuania on their home court. Luka for 35 minutes guarantee you 60 to 70 points in close games (and in FIBA games the scores are like 85 to 80)... I hope this thread will be bumped after few months. Less minutes (40 to 48) and smaller courts (better team defense), different FIBA rules - all that will make sence in the Olympics.

at a WOrld CUp knockout stage game awhile back an Eastern European team beat Germany, the winners had 2 superstars and the rest were scrubs

during the jersey exchange the scrubs all showed they had little potbellies, made it even more amusing, surprised they didn't light up a dart on-field to celebrate
