his 1 year decline across the board that season? (PER, BPM, VORP, WS/48, 3-point efficiency)

Pippen became an MVP candidate and Horace became an All-Star the moment MJ left.

They started as single-digit rookies that were doubling their scoring average each year alongside Jordan - so Jordan built them into all-star caliber, whereas no one saw their stats improve during a tenure with Lebron.. He literally never improved anyone because his playground skillset/ball-dominance reduces teammates' role to spot-up shooter.

Otoh, Jordan's more nuanced, sophisticated skillset and scoring was partially assisted (off-ball), thereby elevating teammate role - that's why Jordan could win with high scoring and Lebron can't - Lebron has zero wins outside the 1st round with 35+, whereas Jordan nearly averaged that for his playoff career, with countless high-scoring wins

It's funny because Lebron and KD only learned to team-hop, while Giannis is about to learn how to WIN (organic).

Learning to win (organic) requires superior skill because the player must learn how his game can fit with teammates, while also developing and honing championship strategy over many years.. MJ became more of a jumpshooter to allow teammates to blossom, while Giannis learned to be a screen-setter and a center offensively to trounce the Nets.. This knowledge is transferrable to other teams so they can win organically in time with ANY team.

Otoh, Lebron and KD bailed early and couldn't stick it out like MJ, Giannis, Dirk, Isiah, Duncan, and Kobe... So they just learned to team-hop - they never learned to WIN (organic)

Imagine believing this.

I'm sure Magic winning organically had nothing to do with having Kareem and later on Worthy as teammates, or Bird having McHale & Parish.

At the end of the day your argument is moronic, you win because you have a great team and or coach with you. MJ had Pippen, Rodman, & Phil, Shaq had Kobe, Magic had Kareem, Bird had McHale/Parish, Russell had a bunch of hall of famers on his team etc.

Funny because earlier in the playoffs you were rooting for Durant and shitting on Giannis, but since Durant lost you quickly changed your narrative.

Magic demanded to play with Kareem, so I don't consider his rings organic - nor are they his rings - Kareem is the higher ranked player all-time.

And you listed Magic, Kareem, Kobe, Pippen and Phil in the same sentence when describing the supporting cast, but Pippen doesn't belong on that tier of players and Phil was a damn coach, not a player.. MJ was the goat candidate in 1990-91 when the Bulls first won, while Phil was a 1st time, nobody coach with an offense that had never won in 50 years on the NBA level.

So you're comparing apples and oranges (coaches to players) and different tiers of sidekick (pippen vs Kareem or Kobe)

Wasn’t he dealing with nagging injuries the first half of the year?

If I recall correctly he started to play very well after the all star break once he got healthy and was able to get into a rhythm.
