I've posted about what it's like here at the rehab place I've been staying. I've come up with a few ideas but never fully follow through on writing anything start to finish, or even half way. This rehab place, how it's run and how dictator like they are, gave me an idea for the perfect premise and I'm actually sober enough to follow through if I want it bad enough.

Example...

Today on the nature walk, dude always picks up a stick and whips bushes or trees when passing by and she flipped out on him saying he isn't allowed to pick up sticks or touch anything because somebody touched poison ivy once. Guy is a country boy, construction worker, hunter and fisher. She might be 25, maybe younger and he is in his 40's old enough to be her dad. This same chick has also barged into my room twice without knocking. Place is real messed up. We are down to 4 people and it was just this past friday that we had 11. Place is crumbling.

A movie based on this place would be hilarious in my opinion. I would write it similarly to something like office space, idiocracy or super troopers. This place and how it operates, writes itself. I'm way less funny without alcohol though, but I'm not sure I even have to be that funny, because like I said, this place is a joke and it writes itself.

As disgusting as I think Hollywood/L.A. is, I'd go into the belly of the beast if it meant I could write bullshit and jokes for a living. I think it could make for a hilariously great movie. This place is insane.

And this is why Chris Rock hates ******.

You clearly take life way too seriously. Are you just always miserable? Life is supposed to be fun and it's temporary. I was partially paralyzed at 18 while in college and had to do tons of physical therapy just to walk again. I watched my mom die of cancer and was holding her hand as she passed away in the hospital. And I'm the one in rehab for alcoholism with cirrhosis of the liver.

If I can find humor in it and am doing what I can to be positive, I'm not sure who you are to act like it's horrible and unfunny.

You do know that Ron Livingston from Office Space, along with Will Sasso feom mad tv currently have a comedy show about being alcoholic going to AA meetings... right?

Fox a few years back made a comedy show about teen cancer patients....

Emma Roberts was in a comedy movie about teens with mental problems and cancer...

But yeah, you know best... at how to be miserable. Thanks for sharing.
