Michael Avenatti was sentenced to two and a half years in prison today after being found guilty of an extortion scheme against Nike, just one of the criminal cases against Stormy Daniels' former lawyer and the one-time leftwing media darling.

Former CNN/MSNBC Expert Michael Avenatti (D) will be heading to prison.

The sentence is for 2.5 years, which means he should be out in time to run for president again in 2024.

FWIW, prison is different than jail. People who escape from jail do not have a profile in the publicly accessible prison inmate database, such as the Illinois DOC, unless they have a previous criminal record and served prison time recently.
