View Full Version : Lebron James statues: When we will start seeing their erection??

It's become pretty traditional for great players to have statues commemorating contributions to their respective franchises.

This will be the case with Lebron, however it seems pretty logical *every* arena should honor him at some point due to his unprecedented impact on the game itself. Personally I think he should have a statue in front of every athletic facility of any kind throughout the world, but that's a subject for a different topic.

When do you think we'll start seeing Lebron statues erected? I would love to see these erections performed very quickly, but it will be hard. It sometimes take a little time and planning for an erection to take place. That said, I'd like to see a new erection begin each month until all 30 are complete. It's a lot of erections, but Lebron's performance night in and night out over his career deserves nothing less.

What do you think, ISH?

And let me remind all you sophomores out there, I intend to acknowledge SERIOUS REPLIES ONLY.

Which city? Cleveland, Miami, LA? There is a price to pay for collusion and team hopping.

Kobe's statues were much smaller erections. Lebron's will require a lot of force and power to erect, due to their unprecedented proportions.

I mean I could see one in Cleveland I guess, but 1/11 doesn't really warrant one. Maybe a statue of Clevelanders burning his jersey a la summer 2010?

Thank you for being the one guy who seems to understand how to stay on topic.

I had the idea a long time ago but I was just saving it. He just reminded me of it but I was gonna do it anyway. It was my idea from before.

edit: Not that I care about credit or anything. Lebron is what matters, OBVIOUSLY. But I'm just saying. He took my idea that I was already gonna do anyway. It was my idea.

It's going to be costly putting up lebron statues as they would have to include star teammates or else it will not stand by itself.

Knicks were willing to replace the Statue of Liberty with a larger marble statue of Lebron had he come there. And he still turned them down. The proposal was that rather than use an outstretched arm in the air, they would alter the pose so the phallus would be the apex of the structure. James Dolan was quoted as saying, "In the original mockup it looked like he was fuc*ing the heavens. But he and his team were disappointed and were hoping for something more ostentatious"

All stars. Lol weak

Comparing their All-Defensive teammates during their trips to the playoffs.

Jordan's All-Defensive teammates:

1984-85 -
1985-86 -
1986-87 -
1987-88 -
1988-89 -
1989-90 -
1990-91 - Scottie Pippen
1991-92 - Scottie Pippen
1992-93 - Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant
1994-95 - Scottie Pippen
1995-96 - Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman
1996-97 - Scottie Pippen
1997-98 - Scottie Pippen

LeBron's All-Defensive teammates:

2005-06 -
2006-07 -
2007-08 -
2008-09 -
2009-10 -
2010-11 -
2011-12 -
2012-13 -
2013-14 -
2014-15 -
2015-16 -
2016-17 -
2017-18 -

LeBron went to 9 finals and won 3 rings with no All-Defensive help at all.

And now he has AD.

Like big jaw, big forehead, hairline running away from his ugly face?

Or roided body and tiny Lepeen?

not really fair to count Eddie, nick or Howard considering had the 97 or 98 Lakers won the title kobe gets no credit since he's a 6th man.. and kobe got injured before the playoffs in 2013 so he never officially had howard either

kobes only had shaq and gasol. and you can count bynum but for what? 1 year.
