Because they double trapped him from 35 feet. Teams don't do that to Paul. He has no range outside having his big toe on the 3pt line.

That would probably be the most pathetic thing in NBA history if Chris Paul wins a finals MVP in his first finals, while Curry can't win a finals MVP in five different appearances hahahah

Also Chris Paul was destroying Curry in the 2018 west finals until his injury and up 3-2.

Then in 2019 2nd round when Curry missed like 7 different wide open layups hahaha Paul was better that series in TS\offensive rating\defensive rating as well.
