That's true - Lebron had 3 years to develop his team into a high seed before entering the 06' Playoffs, and this included acquiring a 22/6/5 all-defender (Hughes)

Lebron proceeded to reduce him to a spot-up shooter, so hughes was nothing, similar to other wings like Ingram or Jamison alongside LeCancer

Otoh, Jordan's scoring was partially assisted, thereby elevating teammate role, so guys like Pippen grew by leaps and bounds alongside him.

That's true.. Lebron got 3 years to develop the team into a high seed before entering the playoffs in 06'.. Part of this 3-year process was seeing the Cavs go from 0 all-stars in 04', to 2 all-stars in 05' (Lebron, Zydrunas), and then acquiring a 22/6/5 all-defender along with the future COY in 06' (and drafted Varajao).

This is a lot of development over 3 years.. Otoh, Jordan was thrown into the playoffs in Year 1 as eight seed...

But when Jordan had 3 healthy seasons to develop his team (88'), he made the 2nd round just like 06' Lebron.. However, Jordan was carrying an 8 ppg rookie in a conference that required a super-team to win it, while Lebron had a 2-time all-star center and 22/5/5 acquisition in a conference that 1 star teams routinely won.
