Let's play a game:

Pick a player, any era, and choose a different position, and era, for them to play in which you think they would have succeeded. Make a case.

I'll go first:

Magic Johnson - PF during the 90s.

Peja Stojakovic - PF today

Hakeem - small forward today, Giannis style

You mention Hakeem, but imagine his twin tower teammate Ralph Sampson as a small forward in today's game!

I dunno, seems like he would suffer the same fate as Porzingis.

Michael Jordan - PG, 6'6 Russell Westbrook on steroids today

Dennis Rodman - C, Tristan Thompson on steroids today

Good choices actually.

MJ would probably be a lot like Russ yes. 40-10-10.

Rodman would be a BEAST, but would need to learn to hit a 3.

Larry Bird is the perfect 4 for the modern game.
