With the crazy prices of video cards right now building a pc right now probably isnt a good idea. My current pc keeps shutting down randomly I cleaned it out hopefully that fixes it but Im still interested in a new pc regardless if I fixed it or not.

Looking at this

https://www.amazon.com/CyberpowerPC-Supreme-Liquid-GeForce-SLC8260A5/dp/B08W1T9QJV/ref=pd_ybh_a_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=HSFJE21YV8RA51M1JAW7

The current pc I have is

This might be the best time to buy a prebuilt, but that still doesn't mean that it's a good time, if you get my meaning. I looked at prebuilts a few months ago because my nephew wanted a new PC and I didn't want to be stuck doing tech support for him. Here's what I learned:

If the component list does not give you exact specifications and/or a manufacturer for an item, expect it to be the cheapest option available. That 16 gb of DDR4? Probably a single stick of green PCB RAM running at 2667 mhz. No heat spreader so overclocking will be limited, and a single stick means you won't be getting the advantages of dual channel. Power supply? Who the hell knows? It won't be name brand, it won't be modular or even semi-modular, and probably not rated either. How many watts? Enough to run the stuff installed, but not a whole lot more.

The only storage it ships with is a 1TB SSD. That's not a lot. Maybe you can pull the hard drive from your old system and mount it in this one.

The other thing I would caution you about is that prebuilts are skyrocketing in popularity due to the graphics card shortage. That means the systems are often being built by people who really don't know what they're doing, barely being tested (or not even tested at all) before they ship. Which means more calls to customer service and tech support, so they're slammed and staffed with people who don't know what they're doing either. One thing I would suggest is that before you buy a prebuilt, give their customer service number a call and see how long it takes before you're talking to a real live human. One of the major reasons to buy a prebuilt is that there's one single contact for tech support, but if you're waiting on hold for two hours every time you call them, it's not such a great bonus.

the ps5 and xbox series x are nearly just as good and cost half the price of a gaming PC

and in some cases even people with brand new graphics cards couldn't keep up with that cyber punk game

You might want to watch this video before getting out your credit card. Dude makes a lot of the same points that I did.
