Booker is in the playoff for the first time in his career and he's mainly an iso guard. He's been getting Kobe comps when he isn't even a 20th of Kobe. I'd say he made him better.

Kobe's skills are legendary, and his finals win rate is 71%. If that's the "wrong" player to emulate, there aren't many right ones.

You can't have two guys dominating the ball & running the offense at the same time (we saw CP3 with Harden in Houston), Booker's role is to get them buckets and he's not as great as Kobe so he's not as consistent, that's just how it is. You wouldn't want him to play like Harden did next to CP3 either. The Suns have the right formula offensively but they're up against a great defensive team who can dominate them on the boards and on 2nd chance points(Bucks have outrebounded them in every game). Jump shooters have off nights.
