With a “defensive specialist” who routinely gives up 40 pt games while scoring 0? This is madness by Bud. Start Portis and get some scoring at least

Portis is not ideal starter material and the way the crowd gets going with him, it's way better to bring him off the bench.

This is a very good argument , but Tuck is a mental cheerleader for this team , hustling his ass off.
Ironically he is probably the team leader in the locker room , but I agree Portis should get more burn.
Lopez isn't stopping Ayton from boarding , and maybe Portis could. (It is the key to the series)

None of that matter when he’s a continuous negative producer though. He’s the only reason the hawks won a couple games off them. They were hiding Trae defensively on him.
