Unbelievable. Helped on Booker coming of a curl and rotated all the way back to stuff Ayton chest to chest. Ayton is the best lob and roll big in the league too.
He looked like Hakeem here. Degree of difficulty on this defensive play is ENORMOUS. :applause:

Ohhh blocked by James!!!!!
Hey Yo

LOL @ Chris Fall.
Sickest block I have seen in the finals. Giannis jumped off of one foot too from a quick turn around. And again, blocked the shot clean at the apex, all by himself. No help D like what lebron/JR did on iggy.

LeBron's will always be more iconic given the circumstances, but I think Giannis's was more impressive in a vacuum. The presence of mind to anticipate Booker's pass, the split-second switch on Ayton, and the bodily control not to foul.
LeBron's chasedown was incredible, but JR afforded that opportunity by altering Iggy's would-be dunk. Plus, it's not completely guaranteed that Iggy would've made the layup anyway, whereas Ayton's unblocked alley-oop attempt would be as close to a gimme as you could have.

Yeah maybe not as iconic but chest to chest above the rim definitely a better block.

He stopped booker on the penetration.... then turned around in 2 steps from the dotted line while the ball was in the air....and blocked Ayton a legit 7 footer at the apex of his jump and blocked the ball at the top of the square. I don't believe I've ever seen some shyt like that in my life.

That was easily the best finals block of this century
Historically only Wilt, Russell, and Hakeem could pull off something like what we just witnessed out of Giannis

Nice recovery by Giannis but that was only possible because Booker's pass was so ass.
That was pass was actual ****ing garbo.
To be perfectly clear I'm not entirely sure that Ayton converts that without going to the ground and going back up even if Giannis doesn't exist. There was a lot of heat on it, he was full extension and barely caught it with his fingertips and he was moving away from the basket as he caught it.
It was a bad pass that got overlooked because of the amazing block.

Now that is a clutch block. That would have been a sure 2. Ayton was simply wide open. That surely is the most iconic block of the finals.

This. Brons was in a game 7 and it was in the clutch so it was a bigger moment but anyone who knows the game knows Greeks was a way higher difficulty

It's his worst nightmare.
Not only does Chris Paul lose to a LeBron disciple (Giannis) he also sees CP3 take a 2-0 lead and choke it away. He makes all of these grand prediction threads that always fail because he is a complete moron. Then he makes this thread in a weak attempt to sleight LeBron which is the icing on the cake.
-2021 Finals
-CP3 takes 2-0 lead and chokes it away
-Thinking of LeBron
-LeBron disciple (Giannis) wins FMVP
Life is good
