Game 6 in '98 was even worse

2 missed calls that went against the Jazz, causing a 5 point swing in a game decided by a single point. That's not even getting into the Jordan push off on Russell

That was a good video.

The last minute is dead on too about how the narrative would be spun today with LeBron. “The pass”. Lol

I'm more fascinated by the fact he had a weak left hand dribble. Literally dribbling with his right hand on the left side of the court. Make a me laugh when people say guys like Dame or Curry couldn't dominate this era. Defenders are 5 feet off Stockton at the 3pt line. :oldlol: ...and he can't dribble well with his left hand.

The rules may have been tougher, but I don't think these guys are nearly as skilled as today's top guards. Big men today have hit a total free fall though.

Knowledgeable fans have always known that MJ was a fraud. But I don't blame the poor guy. It's his handlers that were the mastermind. Namely, Falk and Stern.

90s was more physical, you could do shit like this and defenders got away with a lot of hacking and the illegal defense rule wasn't enforced as much as people would assume.

Well, I'm not being serious with that comment but this stuff is the same thing as flopping: you're deceiving the refs and trying to get away with it. From the stuff I've heard from players this shit was at its worst in the 70s. There was all kinds of dirty play and refs couldn't keep it in check and would rather try to just keep it "even".

Yup. Everyone tried to be physical/dirty so you couldn't call a foul on every play and ruin the product, same as you can't call every travel & offensive foul in today's league. Malone gave Zeke 40 stitches and all he got was a 10K fine and a one-game suspension.
