They almost got eliminated by Brooklyn. The Nets didn't have Irving and let's be honest, Harden was playing on one leg. Harden was there, but he wasn't Harden. He was just a body in uniform that couldn't move right. Brooklyn needed to beat a half-healthy team in overtime. They have not proved that they are the best team. In fact, it's obvious that they would have lost if The Nets had just 1 out of 2 of those stars. This situation is not the same as the Cavs in 2015 who only won two games. The Nets series literally went to overtime in game 7 and they just about lost to a half team.

I'm not wrong, right? Or am I just stating the obvious?

They've been honing chemistry and brand for years - this is just a culmination of everyone getting better at basketball, aka learning to win (organic), rather than just team-hopping and sucking at actual team basketball

Would they have beat the Nets if Harden or Irving was healthy?

No, but that would just be another colluded super-team ring, which don't count - Giannis is ushering in a return to the old way - organic

KD and Lebron only learned to team-hop - they never learned to WIN (organic), so they're inferior to Giannis once he wins.

Would Lebron have lost to the Spurs and Warriors without Ray Allen and Irving/Warriors injured? Yes. And he also would have missed making 2 finals entirely if refs didn't rig 2 series against Pacers. Hill/Lance/PG/West/Hibbert were the better team, like the Pistons last championship, but refs robbed them in favor of the Miami cHeat aka the collusion brothers and the MJ wannabe. Never gonna happen, even with all of the rigging and collusion. Can't beat em? Join em and stack the deck. Still can't catch MJ.

even with Irving playing they were 2-2

They caught two lucky breaks in the second round.

Stop it with the mental gymnastics.

All rings are worth the same.

Giannis is not better than LeBron or KD. He is less of a winner than they are.

Bucks and Suns were extremely lucky.

Injuries to AD, Kawhi, Kyrie, Harden, even Trae.

We know the Nets are making the finals out East if they remained healthy.

I really like Giannis and prefer the Bucks winning compared to the Suns...but this is a weak ring for sure due to the record setting amount of injuries to NBA all-stars these playoffs.

its a weak ring because they did not have to face the most stacked team of all time at full strength?

so every team throughout history has a weak ring?

Your not wrong but alot of teams get lucky due to injuries. If u put an asterisk on this u have to put an asterisk on alot of rings

The Suns are lucky as well. They're fortunate the Clippers and Lakers were both injured. Your thread is basically a knockoff version of that LeBotched fan.

For those complaining about injuries to their teams, are we forgetting Giannis was injured as well, many thought he would’ve out of the playoffs? Just so happens he has freakish recuperative abilities compared to other players and he shouldn’t be penalized for being the last man standing.

He had a minor injury (relative to other star players).

He got lucky in that sense.

Or maybe he's just pushing through it like players used to do, unlike today's pampered divas.

I assume you saw the injury, that did not look minor as it was a sever hyperextension. I could only look at the replay twice. It actually looked worse than Kawhi, Trae and Kyries' in my opinion. Many people, including myself thought Giannis was done for the playoffs. Point is, Giannis himself was injured so he shouldn't be getting discredited due to injuries to other star players.

Bucks and Suns being in the finals is not called lucky it is called perseverance.

He's moving around just fine. The injury clearly wasn't serious.

The vast majority of players don't play through legit injuries (that wasn't the case several decades ago either, quit lying).
