We know how this was a few years ago (2017?) when Stevens somehow got 0 COTY votes.

Players are all over social media / twitter / instagram nowadays, and we all know those reaction videos...

Luka had to do some near 50 point triple double ish to get some positive feedback.

When Jokic won the MVP, no players outside of his teammates and fellow Euro's congratulated him.

When Luka made the cover, not a peep.

Now we got McCollum out here advocating for Middleton FMVP :lol

Those are pretty weak evidence to the premise.

When you consider they congratulate everyone else on the cover, every other MVP, or every other player who's doing stuff that Luka did (very rare historically) or even players doing less of it (Trae Young), i'd see its pretty clear.

The majority of coaches in the NBA are white, there are only a few black coaches in the league.

Nobody cares about Giannis being from Europe or Africa this is nothing new in the NBA, ever heard of Tim Duncan, Mutombo, Olajuwon, Steve Nash, Tony Parker, Dirk, Ginobli. It doesn't matter where you are from if you have GAME!

Trae Young has recieved more hate than any Euro player, the only difference is he doesn't complain about it, he uses it as motivation.
