Yup agreed. Lowry's Finals MVP was well deserved. What a great year that was, huh? Man, sometimes I still watch Siakam sink that game 7 buzzer beater over Embiid. Van Fleet locking up Giannis was legendary.

This year is even better. Giannis dominating the trio of Durant, Harden, and Kyrie. What an upset. With 1 win to go and an upcoming home game, I'm sure Giannis is getting his ring against one of the stacked LA teams who they are currently battling in the Finals.

nah. I think kawhi got lucky tbh. we literally invented load-management for him that season. the term didn't exist beforehand.

FYI 17-5 record without him that very season.

Kawhi didn't team hop he was traded lol. It's only team hopping if you end up at your desired destination. Siakam was still pretty raw at the time and Lowry was seem as a bigtime playoff choker. In reality, that Raptors team ended up being really good and really deep, But Leonard didn't forsee that and he definitely didn't choose Toronto. Pop even meant to trade him there as sort of a "**** you".

yeah most nba fans dont get that. to truly beat the top teams somewhat consistently you need elite unfair advantages going for your own team. aka kawhi that run with kd and lebron out.

His Raptors title was a sequence of extremely fortunate circumstances(lucky and fluky) but calling it team-hopping is reaching. He was traded there against his will. Him joining the Clippers with Small George was team hopping however. Everywhere Lebron went was team hopping.
