Yes, super teams where people sign in free agency to team up suck for the fans of opposing teams, we all know this.
But the fact of the matter is super teams where players choose to team up is not really the players' fault. It's the fans' fault. Idiotic fans criticize players relentlessly if they don't win rings. And you do that because your understanding of NBA basketball is surface level trash ass hot vomit garbage. A lot of you guys act like that NBA games are 1 on 1 contests and just as many of you only look at individual scoring and that's it.
The amount of variables that go into any team winning an NBA championship are far higher than we will ever truly understand.
Stop obsessing over individual players and ring count. Just stop. It's a team game, not an individual game. Period. Period. Period. Let it sink in. Understand it. Accept it. Get over yourselves.
A lot of you are the reason that super teams exist in the first place because of the astronomical amount of social pressure you put on players to win as an individual in a team based sport.
Guess what? The best player in the league often, if not most of the time, does not win the NBA championship.
Most championship teams are stacked teams. Almost all of them. And the reason for this is because it takes a team to win! You guys just don't like players having the power to choose how the teams are assembled rather than the front offices' having the power to choose how the teams are assembled, if you want to get down to brass tacks and be honest about it. That's the crux of it all.
But staying on your original team or going and forming your own team... none of it matters. Those guys are the exact same basketball players regardless of what team they're on. It's just surface level understanding bullshit because you guys are lazy and or stupid.
It's my fault for expecting more, really. Emotional immaturity on my part and not accepting it for what it is. Oh well.
