Can anyone dispute this? I don't consider any team outside of the Nets to be a superteam.

Hard to argue there were any historically great teams that year.

The Lakers? Best duo in the league, but a paper-thin supporting cast outside of them.

The Bucks? In the regular season, but not in the playoffs.

The Clippers? On-paper, but not in a practical reality.

The Lakers were the closest that year with multiple superstars, but again: a team that beatably top-heavy generally wouldn’t be considered a historical juggernaut. Still great enough to win it all as they did; it’s just that they wouldn’t meet the criteria of what’s my understanding of a superteam.

Nothing wrong with that, though; if there were historically great teams every year, the term’s meaning would get stretched thin.

Good use of the semicolons dude. I'm digging the grammar!

Yes there were no real super-teams in 2019-20 like those past legendary teams:

1972 Lakers (Wilt, West, Baylor, Goodrich)
1999 Rockets (Olajuwon, Barkley, Pippen)
2004 Lakers (O'Neal, Bryant, Malone, Payton)
2008 Celtics (Garnett, Pierce, Allen)
2013 Heat (James, Wade, Bosh, Allen)
2013 Lakers (Bryant, Howard, Nash, Gasol, Artest)
2017 Warriors (Durant, Curry, Thompson, Green)

and today's 2021 Nets (Durant, Irving, Harden, Griffin, Jordan, Aldridge, etc)

How does two superstars make the Lakers a superteam? That doesn't make sense, superteams are usually involving some form of three all-nba level players.

Bron and AD both co-led the Lakers to a non-superteam ring last year.

Take off the homer goggles. The Lakers had five all stars on their team. Davis, James, Howard, Rondo, Cousins. If that's not a Superteam, you're on crack
