why do you people think giannis takes those long shots even knowing they're not his strength. he wants to emulate his mentor

i'm hard on giannis for the glaring holes in his game still but he wants to get better. thats all that matters... meanwhile lebrons guy CP3 is content with forever being that same choke artist every single year.

i think kareem/russell belong in the goat discussion. i don't like either man and would never pattern my game around them or wanna watch a highlight clip of either guy

Obviously but he has a more ruthless anti social personality like Kobe which tends to make winners unlike super friends. Did you read the quote? He wanted to see how they *think*... not mimic their playstyle.

even lebron does it to imitate his idols kobe/MJ while knowing full well he has no business taking a mid range fade

1 thing is for sure... currys 100 times more talented at basketball than lebron. i only rank lebron ahead of him for the same reason i rank giannis ahead. size/roids and rules matter

when you master something and extend on the range/hit it vs even tougher defense you make it your own
