Cute.

But how impressive is it Jordan did it without inflated contracts and also adjusting to inflation

Wow

I don't judge a man by how much money he can make.

And I don't respect whiny floppers no matter how much someone else pays them.

Yeah pretty sick accomplishment for sure

its really not.

when jordan was playing he made like 2 or 3 million a season and probly 5-10 million in endorsements

kobe was making like 17-20 million on average and maybe 40-50 million in endorsements

over the past 5 years guys are making 40-45 million a season with 80-100 million in endorsements

giannis will easily become a billionaire. hes due to make like 50 million a season next year just on salary

and players today invest a lot more into businesses because now they actually make enough money to have that kind of extra cash to buy a restaurant chain or clothing chain

This is the equivalent of the pointy elbow criticism.

Dude makes 1B in earnings and its not impressive. No other NBA player made 1B in earnings while still playing.

jordan and kobe literally made it possible for lebron to make 90% of that billion by growing the game and making it more worldwide. growing interest and attaining new tv deals and showing companies you can invest in them

its silly to compare a guys earning power today to anyone other than guys also playing today

Neither Giannis nor Luka will hit 1B in career salaries and endorsements while playing.

Neither of them are marketable enough in USA market.

well it really all depends on just how badly lebron keeps destroying the nba's revenue stream with his political and racist agendas

if he can cut it out and let the sport grow then salaries will continue to go up.. salaries have doubled in just 10 years.. so 10 years from now the top players could be making 80 million a year. then half the leagues stars will become billionaires

League salary caps have only gone up under LeBrons tenure as nba global ambassador.

Candy bars were 25 cents in the 90's and now cost $1

Congrats on being a billionaire during a time when inflation is higher than ever. Kylie Jenner is close to being a billionaire as well. Kinda says it all, huh?

Bruh I like mj too but this isn't about mj. Not everything has to be about mj. Just because mj or whoever could of ir will make a billion it dosn't mean it's still not impressive.

And i think bron made a billion in salary so the investment point dosn't apply

if its not about jordan it would say "lebron becomes billionaire"... but instead it says "lebron becomes first billionaire"

then people said "but jordans a billionaire" and then others said "yeah but not while playing"

and thus... it became about jordan naturally. i gave my 2 cents. deal with it scumbag
