Chimps are brutally vicious. Gorillas have a silverback alpha male, a bunch of females, and a bunch of kids and are known for being gentle giant herbivores. Chimps have a disorganized hierarchy by comparison and will eat anything especially meat. They're straight sociopathic savages compared to gorillas.

Reading comprehension problem the adults defended themselves and the pack of aggressive chimps only manged to hurt/kill the infants. Doesn't matter who encountered who first. Not impressive.

Nothing new. Chimps hunt in troops, and they become fairly organized almost like an army going to war together. They are very intelligent and vicious creatures, very similar to us humans. Gorillas are more primitive and less intelligent. They don't hunt in troops like chimps. If enough chimps attack together, they are difficult even for a few fully grown gorillas to stop. It can gets pretty nuts based on videos I have seen. One of my former professors studied chimps in nature to advance evolutionary biology - he was a big name professor in the field for multiple decades. Anyways, we learned a lot about his research on chimps/gorillas/other primates in that class.

It took the chimps 52 and 72 minutes, where they were probably swinging around trees. That's what I'm assuming. The first time they failed, and the second time they manage to grab what I assume was the price, the vulnerable kids. Since they would be the weakest. Again, all assumptions, but I assume that it they were put in a cage, the gorillas would win.

Which reminds me. Remember the classic Ben Wallace, Lebron James vs a Silverback Gorilla thread. It was a classic, EXTREMELY popular thread, which was deleted by a mod because of its popularity (The thread would get hot every few months). That's not a just reason to delete a thread.

Again, assumptions. But if I'm a mod, it just wouldn't be right to delete a thread just because for some reason it's annoying me. People put effort into their response, and then it's all gone.

Great white sharks weigh 2500 lbs on average while male orcas weigh 10,000 lbs. Killer whales are also extremely social and travel in packs. Great whites hunt alone. Not to mention orcas are half white particularly at their head where theyre mostly white. You really are one dumb mother****er. :oldlol:

Too bad if an orca ever could actually catch u in the water it couldnt even eat your liver like it does with green whites for fun....cirrhosis is gonna make it undesirable long before any orca's snout ever could get to it.

A pack of a dozen hyenas will harass and even attack 4 or 5 lionesses. But the second one single healthy male lion shows up they ALL run for the hills. A male tiger will send a dozen or more dholes(wild dogs) running for their lives. A big male brown bear can easily fight off a dozen wolves. But the second a few chimps show up the male gorillas take flight and leave the females and infants to fend for themselves.

Lets please never ever put the gorilla in the same tier as other bad ass animals like lions, tigers, bears and crocodiles. They just aren't that tough comparatively speaking
