In the midst of the 1982-83 season, the Lakers were firing on all cylinders and made cake out of their foes. Magic was in peak form with his delegation of the offense. During the first four games of 1983, the Lakers whipped their opponents by 15 points and two margins of 18 points, all but one being road games, and barely lost in overtime to the '83 Sixers at Philly.
Jan. 2, 1983 - W 127-112 vs. Detroit
Jan. 5, 1983 - L 120-122 (OT) at Philadelphia
Jan. 6, 1983 - W 125-107 at Cleveland
Jan. 8, 1983 - W 108-90 at New York
This is one of the most impressive four-game runs I've seen. If the Lakers played like this over a four-game series, which championship teams do you foresee them losing to (besides the '83 Sixers, of course)?
