Come on man. He has 5 chips he's a great coach he's just coaching in an era that he's admitted that he hates. At the moment he's coaching a bunch of players that haven't faced real defenses in awhile and they're struggling to adjust. I expect them to adjust and still win.

Well they do look bad and he is the coach so can't really argue that. I just wonder how much coaching usa coaches actually do in the first place. They usually have enough talent where they don't have to do to much. This team looks talented on paper but there's a bunch of guys who've enjoyed the nba's soft rules for the last while and now they're playing in an atmosphere that's more physical than the nba finals. Plus they're playing against teams that run actual offensive sets. They don't just iso and simple pick and roles all day. They just need time to adjust.

You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Larry Brown couldn't 17 years ago and Pop can't now. Its ingrained. USA should still win though. If they let evan fournier caliber players be the best players in the game id be surprised.

Maybe because they're playing on teams that actually know how to do something other than iso or pick and rolls. Have you watched the games? Every other team is moving and cutting and running actual offensive sets. The usa players are playing like they're in the nba with soft nba rules. Iso's and pick and rolls ain't gonna cut it.

No it doesn’t. He never went back to back. Couple Finals MVPs belong to arguably other players. And he had two HOFers by his side.

Seems like it’s a Spurs tradition, D-Rob excluded, for the other pillars (Popabitch and TD) to be utter dog shit overseas representing our country.
