Absolutely. If Durant or his coaches felt that bulking up would benefit his game, he would have done it. This guy is completely committed to the game, so he would have had no issues lifting more.

KD doesnt need any more muscle... I don't think anyone thinks he's a liability on the court even on defense because he doesnt need to guard the C position. He's athletic enough to guard almost any other...

they used to put as much weight on guys as they could. They figured out bodies aren't necessarily meant to carry more weight. Bad on the joints, knees etc. Ralph Sampson comes to mind
