The Harden playstyle has been way worse in terms of degenerating basketball imo because it teaches star players that the refs will just bail you out on half your offensive possessions
The way a lot of NBA perimeter guys get away with travels, get constantly bailed out by getting call you would never get in international or college play has degraded skill on the actual important parts of offensive basketball.
I find it unwatchable personally, which is why I enjoy the Olympics so much, even watching the bad teams like Iran, at least I don't feel like they are trying to game the system every trip down the court.
