Looks good for Memphis. Not sure Jonas make much more sense for NO than Adams did

Jonas can score down low and also shoot. Better spacing and like you said frees up space to sign other guys who can shoot.

Their only big contract now is Ingram so they have a lot of flexibility.

Both teams get better, the West is a BLOODBATH.

Why does Memphis do it? Adams and Bledsoe's contracts are huge, while Valanciunas is expiring and they only moved 7 spots up in the draft.

moved up in 1st and 2nd round. Get two rotation players that fit the way they play

Looks like the picks will be a huge key to see who "won" this trade. It seems like a lateral move to me for both teams.

What are the Memphis Grizzlies gonna do with cap space or an expiring contract besides what they just did?

To me it looks like New Orleans did ok but Jonas was a pretty big part of Memphis's total package last year. They must be convinced that JJJ is going to come back and improve.

Right now I don't like it for Memphis. They must like whoever they think they can get at 10. Maybe Wagner?

Chris Haynes: Eric Bledsoe, who New Orleans included in a trade package, is not expected to stay in Memphis, (https://*********.com/social/) league sources tell @YahooSports.

Zach Lowe: One note perhaps factoring into this trade from MEM side is that Valanciunas was/is eligible for an extension (https://*********.com/social/).

I think the 5's swap was good for both teams.
I really like Adams , just seeing him get bounced around, sad to see.

Bledsoe career is pretty much done. When Milwaukee thought he would be a difference maker , he started his slide to retirement.
Thank god , Milwaukee was able to move him. (Pelican's found out the hard way)
Bledsoe could be a good bench player if he bought into it ... but that is neither here nor there..

Jonas likes to post up and play the paint, so he'll be clogging the paint for zion. Also a very poor defensive frontline.

David Griffin is an idiot. Zion will be gone in 2 years most likely

Memphis also gets the Lakers 2022 1st round pick. Mempis now has 3 1st round picks in the 2022 draft, which can be offered to trade for another star or go after a specific player in the draft.
