View Full Version : Has there ever been a time when Lebron didn't need more help?

.

* He had 1 seeds in 2009 and 2010 - needed more help

* He had super-teams from 2011-2017 - needed more help

* He has Duncan now, I mean AD - needs more help

And by "help", we're talking an all-nba player like Lillard or Beal - on top of what he already has.

Ultimately, Lebron needed Wade/Bosh - and more help.... He needed Kyrie/Love - and more help.... He needs needs AD - and more help

Otoh, Jordan just needed a "pippen" and infact won the 93' title and the 2nd three-peat in spite of pippen (pippen had 3 of the 7 worst true shooting runs in history for a winning sidekick, and averaged 17/7/5 on 41% for the entire 96-98' Playoffs)... Imagine winning titles with a sidekick that ROUTINELY averages 16 on 39%.

I don't know, but I'm absolutely certain there's never been a time you didn't need more help......

2018, made the Finals with bums.

MJ without Pippen was 1-9.

Iverson, Kidd, Lebron, and Dwight won the conference with weak teams pre-decision, and now Kawhi won the conference on his vacation, or Lebron in 2018, or Butler in 2020 - only Lebron's super-teams from 11-17' interrupted a trend of an easy conference won by weak teams.

2018 Celtics.... 55 wins... #7 SRS.. 1 all-star.. 3.6 net rating

1989 Cavs........ 57 wins.. #1 SRS.. 3 all-star.. 7.7 net rating
1989 Knicks..... 52 wins.. #8 SRS.. 2 all-star.. 3.7 net rating

It was pre-title Jordan and his sophomore low seed that beat the 89' Cavs' veteran all-star team, whereas Lebron was a veteran champion with a veteran champion team when he beat the 18' Celtics' rookies..

It's almost as if something is wrong with Lebron's game or skillset that requires additional talent to offset it... hmmm... Wonder what that could be............

Lebron starts at forward but unfortunately, his skill restriction to ball-dominance forces him to be a 2nd point guard on the floor (a 2nd player with a point guard hold-time).. These 2 point guard lineups give teammates less hold-time and assists than they get in 1 point guard lineups, which results in low TEAM assists and a brand that struggles on the championship level (4/10).. Indeed, the common thread in Lebron's Finals losses is massive deficits in team assists..

Ultimately, Lebron's skill restriction to ball-dominance imposes spot-up roles that stall young players, thereby needing ready-made stars to win (team-hopping, talent-based winning).. Talent-based winning loses to organic ball movement/chemistry, so Lebron has a lottery record against the Mavs, Spurs, and Warriors

And he wasn't shackled to one player for his playoff success unlike your beloved hero, so...

Never. And his fans always thinks the roster around him sucks. Shameless. Guys like Indian Guy, constant excuse makers.
