He certainly didn't earn a lot of the all star berths. Who should have been ROTY? The HOF is a joke we already know that. Pretty much anyone can go in there based on some criteria. He was hardly a bust though. Hell of an offensive player and someone Shaq couldn't run through from game 1

skinny yao in his early years was easily pushed out everywhere but dude hit the weight room. he was kinda unstoppable for a lil bit while once he muscled up. 2006-07 was legit even though he only played 48 games. averaged about 25-10 that season. even dropped over 30 fifteen times that year, scoring from inside, outside, and the free throw line. those aren't bust stuff. too bad he had no longetivity though, too many injuries.
