This season, in which Stephen Curry was replaced by sophomore bum Morant in the playoffs, shouldve been a great argument against the play-in

Yep, ironically they implemented this the season they would've had their two most marketable stars in the 7 & 8 spots :lol

I wouldn’t call him a bum. He actually balled out. He’s just not the 3rd best PG ever like Steph.

Was great to watch Morant and one of the future teams of the league.

Steph should've won then. Can't win enough, don't deserve playoffs.

Not like someone sprung it on them at the last minute. Same rules for everyone. They just lost. Losing to an average team that didn’t have much star power itself in a do or die doesn’t really say you deserved to make it.

Like I said…. the season was that way from the start. It might be that way forever. You want to make it for sure be top 6. If you lose to other average to bad teams to lock up a spot it says more about your team than the process.

Hopefully the warriors won't find themselves battling for any of the last two spots again once klay makes his return to the lineup.

I think the play in games make the last few weeks of the season far more interesting. However I do think they need to reduce the number of regular season games, especially if they plan on doing the play in permanently.

You guys seriously think a team should fight for their playoff spot for 82 games, then play just 1-2 games and have a chance of losing it??? Thats really retarded lol, even actual playoff series go at least 4 games

The losers bracket is a new addition for the league in this decade although not necessarily welcomed. And the warriors have the distinction of being the first team to drop their seed by losing twice in a row.
