nobody can dispute the fact that he was an absolute master politician. he knew how to fight, knew how to win, knew how to play the game and had his own style. probably the goat so far in that regard. politicians hated him for it, even the ones in his own party. he was a celebrity-style demagogue, just like barack. as far as governing though, he was very average... just like barack. nothing special like right wing media would lead you to believe, and nothing incredibly underwhelming like left wing media would lead you to believe. his policies? typical right wing orthodox republicanism. honestly i don't see what the big deal is about the guy aside from his personality and the way he games the media and his voters. people just want something to get their hearts pumping... just like with barack.
