Will be third banana to Elgin Baylor (AD) and Jerry West (Westbrook).
If Lebron accepts a similar limited role as Wilt, he might have a shot at a ring.
He just might in the RS but will highjack the finals

You mean still being the best player on the team? I agree.

Wilt was the clear cut best player on those Laker teams.
In the one post-season in which West finally won a ring...his team won that title despite his awful shooting. He shot .37.6 in his entire post-season and an absolute horrid .32.5 in the Finals.

MJ accepted a role as
4th banana in rebounding:
Pippen, Rodman, Grant
3rd banana in assists:
Pippen, Armstrong
3rd banana in steals:
Pippen, Armstrong

I can see the argument if wilts teammates were only averaging a few more points per game like kawhi in 2014.
Wilt had two teammates who were putting up 23 and 24PPG!

This is true... But in order to accept a lesser role alongside Westbrook, Lebron would have to play off-ball, which only guys with elite jumpshooting skill can do well... Lebron is screwed... all he knows is how to pound the rock (aau skill-level)

If there wasn't a league-wide conspiracy to take Wilt down in the 60's, he'd have more rings... there's nothing he couldn't do - he led the league in assists

That's true, Wilt led the league in points, rebounds AND assists, and if they were tracked back then would've led in blocks too. Jordan only led in 1/4th of those

Wilt was the finals MVP so how was it a role player ring.

Wilt destroys everyone when it comes to stats and individual accomplishments.
Here is a fun stat for you despite the fact that Wilt decided to stop scoring after his 7th season.
He has more 60 point games in his career than Jordan has 50 point games.

NBA Finals MVP (1972)
And this OP loser wants to call it some sort of "diminished" 3rd banana roll. Insulting.
Bill Simmons has single handedly done the most damage to Wilt's legacy because of his Celtics homerism bullshit. Just like his butt buddy Bob Ryan calls Bobby Orr the greatest hockey player ever (guess who Bobby Orr played for).
If we switched Bill Russell with Wilt teams, Wilt would be the one with 8+ championships and Bill Russell would the career "loser".
Imagine if LeBron turned into 1972 Wilt and facilitated for his team and won finals MVP. A real legacy killer!

Because the gaps on their PPG through out the playoffs. West and Goodrich were 20+ PPG scorers.
Jerry West was curry
Gail Goodrich was klay
Jim McMillan was draymond green
Wilt was Andre igoudala

It should be noted that in Wilt's era an assist didn't count if your man took a dribble so therefore he may have averaged more assists going by modern game rules.
Also, it is important to note that KC jones Bill Sharman and Tommy Heinsohn all of which played with Russell all said to a man.
That Wilt's 1972 season was the best defensive season they ever saw by a player.
I found this stat deeply interesting we know that Chamberlain had about 7 to 8 BPG in his '72 season (in the known games, which were around 60 I believe.)
And, in something like the known 50 games of Wilt's LAST season, in '73, Wilt was around 6 BPG.
Why is that interesting? Because Nate Thurmond and even Kareem were regarded as outstanding shot blockers.
Yet in the very next season, (and after Wilt had retired), and when the NBA began to officially record blocked shots, Kareem averaged 3.5 BPG, and Thurmond was at 2.9 BPG.

PPG doesn't really matter when speaking about who was the best player on that 1971 -1972 Laker team
Wilt in that regular season led the league in rebounding blocks and field goal percentage.
And he ended up doing the same thing in the playoffs.

When talking about Wilt's 11 PPG average in the 1969 finals.
Was it because he couldn't score...or was it because he didn't get the ball to shoot? Just earlier in the same season, he hung a 35 point game on Russell.
And of course, historically, he had multiple post-season series against Russell of 30+ ppg (and multiple post-season games of 40+, including must-win games of 46 and even 50 against Russell.
And yet...he only averaged eight FGAs per game in that series (and hit 50% of them.) In any case, Wilt wasn't brick-laying in those finals.
He wasn't pulling an '04 Kobe, or an '07 Lebron...neither of whom could hit the broadside of a barn in those series...albeit they still fired away.

He was at the FT line, 36% is horrendous. And in their two razor thin losses, Wilt shot 2/11 in a 1 point loss in Game 4, and 4/13 in a 2 point loss in Game 7
Wilt, a tall guy who becomes small in big playoff games.

I agree he was horrendous from the foul line in the 1969 finals much as he was in his first finals appearance in 1967.
But it should be noted in the Lakers two razor-thin losses in games 4 and 7.
That Wilt's stat lines were
GAME 4 8 PTS 31 REBS 1 ASTS 8 blocks 3-8 FG 2-11 FT
GAME 7 18 PTS 27 REBS 3 ASTS 10 BLKS 7-8 FG 4-13 FT

If he could play the low post game from Miami, he could still be effective as a power forward.
