Inflation + supply chain interruptions.

Which honestly, someone more educated please explain to me why there are continuing supply chain interruptions. Everyone is back to work. Nobody is not going to their job anymore because of COVID. That shit has been over with for over a year at least.

I read somewhere that the silicon used in computer chips got disrupted to an extent because of all of the silicon vials being made worldwide for vaccines and that's about the only thing that made perfect sense to me, based on the things that I've seen.

Other than that, what the ****? Some of this shit seems intentional.

it's a squeeze man. the supply chain across many different industries were interrupted, that's not a lie. but production has re-started long ago. it's just used as an excuse to permanently increase prices. everyone is facing inflation, but the opportunist are continuing to use the same excuse to raise prices across the board. one key material we use was supposed to run into major shortages, there are only a handful of raw material suppliers in the entire world and they all sent letters to their distributors that they would face shortages and as a result, increase prices. they increased the prices alright, but for someone reason they were able to meet all the demand in the world....hmmm. i would say that's impressive with the labor shortage, but the realist in me believes they saw the opportunity to increase prices 15% overnight and use covid as an excuse to justify it.

and vehicles are ridiculously expensive. someone offered 28k for my 2016 tacoma with 50k miles. that was within minutes of listing it for sale. i paid 34k for it back in 2016. i know toyotas hold their value real well, but i'm finding it hard to believe a 5 year old truck with 55k miles is worth almost the same as when it was purchased new.

on the buying end though, it sucks ass. trying to buy a Ram diesel pickup and even a used late model one is only a couple thousand less than a brand new one. 60k for a 2500 with 50k miles...i know that isn't a whole lot of miles for a diesel, but i can get a new one for a very similar price+tax.

This. Even new or upcoming models to be released for this decade will have supply problems. The industry needs to fix this shit asap.

our local dealerships have little to no vehicles on the lots... 3-4 years used car / truck/SUV prices will be bottom low.

Dual motor scooters are the future. They can go up to 80mph, charge in your bedroom. Ultimate mobility in the city IMO

The World Economic Forum posted an article in 2016 titled "By 2030 You'll Own Nothing and Be Happy." It predicted the end of personal property ownership, since everyone will just rent/share space like one giant global Airbnb. Everything you use would be rented (conspicuously omitting details on whom it is rented from) and delivered by drone. It predicted meat consumption would drop to the equivalent of one cheeseburger a month. Nobody owns cars because smart/green shared transportation will have replaced them. It also theorized toward the end you will have no privacy/autonomy, and will always remain connected to society and accounted for. But insists you'll be happy and won't miss the values and lifestyle of the past.

This was an article writted by a member of the WEF and posted on their own website. Not a conspiracy, not a concocted narrative. It was their own soft propaganda put on their website. It went largely unnoticed until the "pandemic" began and people started sharing the article and pointing out how blatantly so many of its predictions were correlating to radical government measures justified by the 'crisis.'

And wouldn't ya know it, the article has since...

Interesting tho can't overlook the fact that it'd be tragic once involved in serious or fatal accidents, unlike cars.

I know but at least they have more protection than they do in those fast scooters, especially during rainy weather.

Im actually looking for a Dodge 3500 to use for possible car hauling and you are exactly right. I’m gonna have to get one from some personal connects if I get it at all. When I first looked into it a couple years ago seemed they were growing on trees.

I just did a search on the phrase "By 2030 You'll Own Nothing and Be Happy" in both Google and DuckDuckGo. Both engines turned up the article in question as their top search result.

There's only one conclusion we can draw from this.

FultzNationRISE, you are being targeted by the US government. They're after you, they've suppressed your search results on the internet, and that's only the first step. You need to contact the underground and go into deep cover, or else you'll become another "Covid" casualty.

i just found out the new 3500 has an option for a 'high output' cummins, so it's even more beefed up cummins engine. like 1,000lb of torque

with the current used prices, thinking of going for one and eating the extra cost of taxes.

Exactly. Just get a bunch of ricer stickers and enjoy the hate. People get real bummed when a sub 5k car can keep up with a car that cost 10x as much.
