Everyone below was a better scorer that commanded doubles, with better scoring performances in the big series (in chronological order):
Magic/Kareem/Worthy
Moses/Dr. J
Bird/McHale
Isiah/Dumars
Shaq/Kobe
Duncan/Robinson or Duncan/Parker/Manu
Kobe/Pau
Lebron/Wade/Bosh
KD/Curry
And every sidekick from a one-off champion was an equal or better scorer than Pippen except Horry..
Pippen's weak scoring wasn't just PPG, it was worst-ever efficiency (https://i.ibb.co/qBBHvB1/chrome-d-EXe-R4x-E8t.jpg), so he was completely wetting the bed - 16 on 50% isn't so bad but 16 on 39% is.
Kenny Smith says it best when he said Jordan is the only guy that never played with a teammate that got double-teamed - he carried that load for an entire career..
